How to choose a chastity cage
Male chastity is about trust and communication as much as hardware. A good device fits closely, stays comfortable and comes off quickly if anything feels wrong.
Get the fit right
Measure while flaccid. The cage should be about equal to or slightly shorter than your flaccid length, and the base ring should sit snugly behind the testicles without pinching. A penis cage that is too long lets the wearer slip out, while one that is too short causes pressure. Many male chastity cages ship with several ring sizes so you can test fit before longer wear.
Materials
- Silicone: flexible and forgiving, the best starting point for most people.
- Plastic or resin: light, affordable and easy to wear under clothing.
- Stainless steel: durable and secure, but heavier and less forgiving of a poor fit.
Locks and electro options
Chastity devices use small padlocks, numbered plastic tags or built-in locks. Numbered tags suit beginners because they can be cut off quickly in an emergency. Some cages are designed to work with electro stimulation units. Use electro play only below the waist, never near the heart, and never if you have a pacemaker.
Wear time and hygiene
Start with an hour or two while awake and build up slowly over days. Remove the cage right away if you notice pain, numbness, swelling or skin color change. Clean it daily with warm water and a toy cleaner, and dry the skin underneath. For a lighter commitment, our penis rings and wider bondage gear range offer simpler ways to play with control.
